A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Each new employee spends half a day going through new employee orientation. During orientation, there is a permanent information section on sustainability on campus (just like the sections on environmental health and safety, union rights, etc.). This overview covers how sustainability is integrated into the university planning framework, core values, SFU's Sustainability Policy (GP38), and how employees can become involved in sustainability initiatives in the work place.
