A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:
Campus grounds are predominantly not irrigated.
In the few areas where there is irrigation( 1 grass playing field - or landscape establishment areas) irrigation is optimized - either through weather tracking equipment - or manually. Note: In our rainy west coast climate - irrigation is only required occasionaly during the months of July and August.
