A brief description of the diversity coordinator's position:

The Director of the Multicultural Center promotes student academic success and personal empowerment. Provides students with an area to meet, study, and socialize; provides them the ability to utilize computers with Internet access, discuss academic and multicultural information, and share multiple perspectives.

The Director of the Multicultural Center coordinates lectures, workshops, and special events that are designed for staff and community members to develop and enhance their multicultural awareness, knowledge, and skills.
