While no “official” purchasing policy exists, the Facilities Department Custodial Standards include meeting Green Seal standards for cleaning products and equipment. Products currently being used that meet the GS-37 Green Seal standard include Sustainable Earth #64 Neutral Cleaner (all-purpose cleaner), Sustainable Earth #61 Glass Cleaner, Sustainable Earth #65 Heavy Duty/All Purpose Cleaner, Sustainable Earth #66 Disinfectant (EPA Registered), H2Orange2 Concentrate 117 (EPA Registered), Procyon Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner, Extreme Carpet Cleaner, Butcher’s #2 Look NA Glass & Multipurpose Cleaner, Butcher’s #16 Bath Mate Acid-Free Disinfectant Washroom Cleaner, Waxie Green Certified Foam Soap, Tennant T-5400 Walk Behind Scrubber, and Tennant 1530 Carpet Extractor.
