Herbert Sinnock presented about breakthrough energy goals and Wai Chu Cheng presented about waste management and the Circular Economy Act at the 2017 at the 2017 OCUSP annual general meeting (AGM). Anna Pautler presented about the newly released Cap and Trade program at the 2016 OCUSP AGM.

In 2015, Sheridan submitted for an AASHE sustainability award for "An Integrated Approach to Energy and Climate Planning." In 2016, Sheridan submitted for an award for the Davis H-Wing art mural, called "Art meets sustainability in new mural at Sheridan College." The project is a public art mural that also serves to mitigate heat gain in the building.

Sheridan participates in the OCUSP annual general meetings as well as the members’ listserv. The group often shares resources, such as examples of sustainability language in RFPs and policies. Sheridan also contributed its examples to OCUSP’s report on how Ontario colleges and universities are supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.
