A brief description of the diversity office:
The office provides professional advice and guidance in the areas of human rights, equity and accessibility as well as oversight and expertise in matters of diversity, and cultural change. The manager receives, investigates and addresses workplace harassment and human rights complaints from staff or students and assists with dispute resolution. He/she acts as the College’s key contact for external human rights complaints and other matters before the Human Rights Tribunal. The Manager provides consultation and training to operational partners and also provides guidance to the Human Resources Business Partners, overseeing their investigations which pertain to equity and human rights in the workplace.
