A brief description of the IPM plan(s) :
Sheridan's grounds are developed and maintained in accordance with an integrated pest management plan that adheres to the following four-tiered approach:
1) Set action thresholds
2) Monitor and identify pests
3) Prevention
4) Control
Sheridan College contracted a Pest control company (all- Pest Control Services INC) to take care of all the campuses grounds.
The services include:
- All rodents and all insects inside and outside the campuses
- Exterior rodent control stations
- On-call services for birds, wild animals, sanitation and repairs
- Summer Larvicide Program
- Maintenance of on-site Pest management Log Book
