The Committee on Diversity, Inclusion, and Cohesion (a University-wide body consisting of faculty, staff, and student representatives), the Office of Multicultural Affairs, and the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Inclusion all work to advise on and implement policies, programs, and trainings in this area.

The University hosts and facilitates a deep and broad array of trainings and activities at all levels of the organization. These trainings and activities are initiated by many different offices and departments across the University, as you will see in the attached documents and included website URLs. While there is always room for improvement, and Sewanee continues to set their sights to do more and to facilitate these better, it is clear by the breadth and depth of the offerings that DEI work is central to Sewanee and important to our students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
