A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Sustainability Fellows are a small group of students on campus who apply for the position of a student educator. In being accepted they are expected to check-in with the Sustainability Coordinator and/or their focus-mentor every week. In addition, Fellows attend 8 hours of additional professional development and propose and work on a sustainability-focused independent project each year. The projects are presented at the end of the school year. The Fellows also have the option of attending the AASHE conference, a weekend trip and a day trip during the year.

A brief description of all other student peer-to-peer sustainability outreach and education programs:
In addition to the Sustainability Fellows program, there are Environmental Residents, though that program is small and not entirely successful. There are also a number of student organizations on campus which are eco-themed and who work closely with and are financially supervised by the Sustainability Coordinator. Those organizations include: Green House, Green Fund, Sewanee Water Campaign, and Socially Conscious Investment. The level and frequency of their outreach and education activities fluctuates by year depending on the leadership of each student organization.
