A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
We have utilized GEM electric vehicles in our fleet for a number of years for various departments to use on campus including athletics, library and facilities management. We also have several Kubota electric vehicles in the fleet, used primarily by the grounds and trades crews. Our motor pool has added 5 hybrid vehicles for use by the whole university community.
