A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
New employee orientation includes 2 days:
Day 1 is a campus walk through every major office, including the Sustainability office. Here we discuss our role and resources for the community, as well as provide detailed descriptions of how we interact to encourage environmental responsibility as well as promoting social justice. We have an open door policy and encourage ALL employees (Faculty & Staff) to swing by at their leisure to learn more.
Day 2 is a benefits walk through and deals exclusively with Benefits, Workplace expectations and Diversity and Inclusion.
