A brief description of the sustainable food and beverage purchasing program:

Sewanee is currently expanding the amount of local and organic food we purchase. By going to self-operating for our dining halls, we have increased our ability to work with both our own farm and local growers through groups like the Food Hub. The hope is to expand to the highest possible percentage of local and organic food as is possible in the Middle Tennessee region.
