Does the institution have sustainability-themed housing (residential floor or hall, or theme house) where residents learn about sustainability together and to which residents must apply?:
Yes

A brief description of the themed housing, including name(s) and descriptions of theme(s):

Sewanee currently has two different theme houses geared towards sustainability.

The first house, the GreenHouse, has existed since 2003 when started as the EcoHouse. The GreenHouse is targeted towards students who are interested in pursuing a more homesteading lifestyle. They have a flock of chickens as well a cob oven for baking. They also require the residents to participate in a certain number of garden hours at the University's Organic Garden.

The second house, the Sustainability House, was just started in the 2012-2013 academic year. The house has nine residents who are all participating in an independent study for academic credit studying various sustainability initiatives and projects around campus, including laundry operations, socially responsibly investment, and sustainability literacy surveys.
