A brief description of the time period on which the figures reported above are based :
All our cleaning products are sourced from our sole supplier Aramark. They provided us with an invoice for the 2022 period, which we manually delineated into the categories provided by STARS and added together. The following categories were created:
- Paper products (e.g., paper towel, toilet paper)
- Cleaning products (disinfectants)
- Supplies (plastic bags, gloves, metal scrapers, bins, nozzles)
- Labor
- Tampons

A large assumption or gap in the data is that the supplier did not highlight which products were eco-certified; however, our contract states that for all materials in which an eco-label is an option, that product must be provided so that it complies with our green cleaning policy. Given this rule, all paper and cleaning product items are contractually mandated to be certified.
