A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
Sustainable Seneca branded initiatives under the Facilities department participated in Orientation Health and Wellness Fairs in May and September of 2019.
Through information tables, students who attend 4 of the main campuses would be invited to receive education around the urban farm, the beehives, encouraged to reduce waste on campus, the World Wildlife Fund Living Planet @campus programs that the College is a partner on and other ongoing events. Additionally, public transit information tables are present to provide information regarding sustainable transportation options to students.
