Selkirk College has supported initiatives arising within our local community that would advance sustainability goals, including regional organic waste solutions and regional commuter trail networks.
We have partnered with the City of Nelson to collect data on organic waste diversion, and have highlighted the West Kootenay Cycling Coalition in speaker events. The College Sustainability Club is a partner group of the West Kootenay Climate Hub.
