A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
The annual New Employee Orientation shared information from various departments and committees with new and returning employees.
In 2022, a new "iLearn" resource was launched by Human Resources. This online resource compiles information for employees. Extensive info on Selkirk's sustainability programs is included in this resource. Employees can learn about our initiatives, goals and policies, and achievements.
In 2022, we had a World Cafe format and one of the table topics was Sustainability. Participants had the opportunity to talk about what sustainability means to them and how they see the college playing a role.
