Selkirk College believes in providing employees with a healthy and safe workplace by committing to adopting best practices and ensuring our operations are carried out in a way that minimizes risks, prevents injury and promotes the health and safety of everyone on our college grounds. The College's Health and Safety department runs many initiatives, including programs on emergency preparedness, minimizing hazards, safety education. Selkirk has a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee that identifies and recommends solutions to problems.
