Yes
A brief description of the institution’s Fair Trade initiatives, including the year formal designation was achieved and/or renewed:
Selkirk College received a Fair Trade Campus designation in 2013, making it the first community college in Canada to do so. Since then, the College has maintained its annual designation by continually supporting and promoting Fair Trade products on campus. Currently, all of the coffee and most of the teas served are Fair Trade certified, and the campus bookstores offer a wide range of fair trade items, including chocolate. Fair Trade events are hosted annually, providing outreach to students and staff. Fair Trade is also addressed within Peace Studies courses.
