--SU is a “Single-use Plastic Bottled Water FREE Campus” since 2010. Seattle University students succeeded in getting the Executive Team to stop selling single-use, plastic, bottled water everywhere on campus in September 2010. --Plastic shopping bags are not used or sold following the City of Seattle’s Plastic Bag Ban (in effect since 2012): https://www.seattle.gov/documents/Departments/Council/Members/OBrien/201202bagban.pdf
--Plastic straws and utensils are not used or sold following the City of Seattle’s Plastic Straw and Utensils Ban (in effect since 2018): https://www.seattle.gov/documents/Departments/SPU/Services/Recycling/EnglishSPUFlyer-LetterStrawsandUtensilsAM.pdf
