A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
A student commute habit survey was conducted in fall 2016. Over 1,200 students completed the survey, approximately 14% of all students enrolled that quarter (includes full and part-time students). Approximately 48% of those enrolled were full-time students. Data above and below was calculated based on that survey.
