A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:

Seattle Central offers workshops and full-day trainings on issues of sexual minorities, undocumented student populations, white privilege, and many other topics.

The Multicultural Office helps faculty use film as a teaching tool highlight cultural competency issues.

The school's library offers a series called Conversations on Social issues that allows students and employees to highlight current social justice and cultural competency issues.

The Women's Programs has a lecture every Wednesday, open to all faculty and staff, to discuss specific women's issues.
