Yes

A brief description of the institution’s program(s) to encourage faculty research in sustainability:

Research isn't considered when promoting a faculty member or getting them on a tenure track.

Each year, the District Sustainability Initiative hosts a sustainability focused staff training. This year, the Seattle Community College District hosted a sustainability workshop in coordination with Engineering and Systems Management giant CH2MHill, which was open to all staff and faculty, and taught concepts of sustainability that can be incorporated into course curricula, and ways that faculty can continue to expand their use of sustainability concepts in the classroom.
