A brief description of the event(s):
Each year in the spring the Student Sustainability Committee hosts a Sustainability Fair that is open to both current students and the public. The fair is a week-long series of sustainability related talks from local sustainability focused organizations, educational workshops from both local organizations and current students/staff. The main day of the sustainability fair features tabling by local and campus organizations as well as sustainability focused events by student groups on campus. The main goals of the sustainability fair are to increase student awareness of campus sustainability offerings and to give local organizations an opportunity to interact with current students to increase opportunities of current students to participate in local sustainability efforts.
