A brief description of how the institution engages in public policy advocacy for sustainability, including the issues, bills, and ordinances for or against which the institution has advocated:
To date we have worked only with our own campus on educational initiatives, drafting policy and promoting advocacy. However, we do engage with community building projects through our curriculum and support the work of Sustainable Claremont. Sustainable Claremont is a non-profit organization, independent of the City of Claremont, but working in cooperation with it and with other organizations, including the Claremont Colleges to provide educational resources, not only within Claremont but beyond its borders.
