A brief description of the program:
Outdoor Women Leaders (OWL) is the program that organizes outdoor trips for Scripps students as well as other Claremont Colleges women. Weekly, the group goes to the local rock climbing facility, Hangar 18. Other recent trips include camping at Joshua Tree National Park, Death Valley Nation Park, hiking at Crystal Cove, Solstice Canyon, and kayaking at Sunset Beach. OWL leaders introduce and reinforce No Trace principles on every outing. OWL is also budgeting to send key leaders to attain teaching certifications in order to
