Does the institution hold a campaign that meets the criteria for this credit?:

The name of the campaign(s):
Cardboard Baler

A brief description of the campaign(s):
The Cardboard baler is a 10-weeks pilot program for 50 students within the Kimberley Residence Hall. The students were given an extra blue recycling bin and asked to separate co-mingled recycling from paper recycling and deposit it into a different four-yard bin.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign(s):
The program produced a bale that weighed 522 pounds. The success of the program helped other departments and residence halls on campus to recycle cardboard separately and to become more aware of what can be recycled. The bales of cardboard collected were sold to a recycling company and profits made were used to pay for the initial cost of the baler and fund other environmental pilot programs.
