The current contract for commercial custodial services demonstrates that our campus facilities are cleaned with products that are GreenSeal Certified.
SPECIFICATIONS – CHEMICALS AND SUPPLIES
1. General Requirements
1.1 The Contractor shall furnish all chemicals necessary to perform the Services in accordance with this Agreement. At a minimum, the Contractor shall furnish the Chemicals defined in the “List of Chemicals.”
1.2 The Contractor shall ascertain the appropriateness of all chemicals for their intended use on a surface or material before any actual use of any chemical on any surface or material regardless of whether or not the chemical is included on the List of Chemicals and regardless of whether or not the Contract Manager has given permission to use said chemical.
1.3 The Contractor will use brands and types of chemicals that are certified as meeting the GreenSeal Environmental Standard for Cleaning Service by the GreenSeal Organization unless otherwise approved in writing by the University.
