A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:

SCU has eliminated on-site sales and distribution of straws, stirrers, plastic shopping bags, and polystyrene products. All compostable plastics distributed by Dining Services are BPI certified and are composted at an external commercial composting facility in the South Bay.
