A brief description of the institution’s third party certified land holdings:

Tree Campus Higher Education recognition is given to colleges and universities that effectively manage their campus trees to develop healthy, urban forests, while also engaging the student population through service-learning and forestry efforts. Santa Clara University has been recognized as a Tree Campus Higher Education institution every year from 2016 through 2022. We host an Arbor Day event each year and several data collection sessions to monitor SCU’s trees through a program called Tree Trackers.
