A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

All new employees are offered New Employee Orientation. This includes faculty, and staff employees. The Orientation covers a wide range of health and safety topics and includes a section on Sustainability. Topics include: recycling and waste diversion, how people can contribute to SCU’s sustainability efforts, climate neutrality goal and energy conservation, reusable water bottle use, etc. The Center for Sustainability also sends a welcome email to new employees regarding campus initiatives. Sustainability messaging is also present at the annual staff fair as a resource for existing and new employees.
