See the attached Excel sheet for details on the inventory of the institution’s sustainability research. The inventory was calculated based on the SJSU Research Foundation 2023 Annual Report which can be accessed through the link below. The "total number of employees that conduct research" portion was calculated based on the total number of SJSU faculty that are engaged in sponsored research projects, grants, contracts, or fellowships.

To complete this research inventory we calculated the number of faculty who are actively pursuing and conducting research, have submitted research proposals, or have been awarded grants relating to the United Nation's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
