There are two funding mechanisms for sustainability related projects. One is a Sustainability Giving Fund that is donation driven and was the primary funding for the Office of Sustainability in 2011. Today, the budget for the Office of Sustainability contains a funding for rewarding funding for three projects a semester. Donations to the program will still be used in the Giving Fund.

Members of the Office of Sustainability evaluates the applications. Members include one full time staff member, one faculty and one student.
