The ISB project’s LID facilities were calculated using an Equivalent stormwater methodology to the “Green Infrastructure Model Toolkit (US EPA)”. The calculation methodology tool implemented for the project is used by the City of San Jose and is compliant with the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), which is responsible for issuing construction stormwater permits on behalf of the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). The LID infrastructure is sized based on a regional 85-percentile rainfall event.
