A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
All incoming First-year, Transfer, and graduate students attend orientation either over the summer or over the winter break. All orientation leaders are trained to include sustainability in their campus tours and education about the campus. At each orientation, every student attends a Resource Fair where the Office of Sustainability has a staffed table to educate about campus sustainability, sign students up for our monthly newsletter, and get students involved in activities for the upcoming semester.
