Attached is a sample of our sustainable produce purchases for the Dining Commons. Other local and community based food and beverage purchases include a chicken vendor, all bread and pastries, and dairy. Third party verified food and beverage purchases include all of our tea (organic), coffee (Fair Trade Certified), a chicken vendor (American Humane Certified), our yogurt (USDA Certified Organic), and our seafood (either MSC Certified of follows the Monterey Bay Aquarium best choices).

Spartan Shops is committed to integrating environmental responsibility into our food sourcing, practices, and products we purchase to support a sustainable SJSU community. When making a food and beverage purchases, we strive to make sustainable choices if we can ensure that the costs for the campus community are reasonable.
