A brief description of the guidelines for franchisees:
Spartan Dining negotiates their own franchisee agreements and operates all franchises on campus. Spartan Dining recycling and sustainability guidelines are inserted into their franchise agreements with each individual franchisor. For example, within the agreement with Panda Express, Spartan Dining has arranged to use biodegradable to-go containers in lieu of the typical Styrofoam containers.
