Climate and Resilience Report for SFSU

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:

Over the Spring semester in 2022, San Francisco State University worked with The Nature Conservancy and Second Nature on a community resilience workshop and report. This process brought resilience into SFSU's long term planning goals and supported the campus-wide sustainability goals. The Resilience report lays a groundwork for how SFSU will adapt and plan for a changing climate.
The Climate Action and Resilience Report central objectives were to:
1. Define top local, natural, and climate related hazards of concerns
2. Identify existing and future strengths and vulnerabilities
3. Identify and prioritize actions for the campus community
4. Identify opportunities to collaboratively advance actions to increase resilience across the community, and beyond.
