SF State has both a Sustainability and a separate Climate email listserv for staff and faculty. Sustainability news is also included in the main campus newsletter, the CampusMemo. SFSU Office of Sustainability has social media on facebook and instagram.

SF State's 3 LEED certified buildings have signage that highlight green building features like sustainable material, water recycling, and renewable energy. This signage helped earn LEED credits for the building.

Residents are also given reusable water bottles on their first day and are given access to water bottle filling stations. All residents on the meal plan are only given reusable to go containers that must be returned.
