SF State earned a Bronze level Bicycle Friendly University award in 2016.
Power to the Pedal
Power to the Pedal is SF State’s bicycle outreach program. We host events and repair bikes to promote biking as a healthy, sustainable, and fun way to get to campus. Power to the Pedal is collaboration between the Office of Sustainability and Associated Students.
Bicycle Repairs
Power to the Pedal offers free bike repairs at the Farmers Market from 11am-2pm on Thursdays when school is in session. If you can't make it to the Farmers Market, contact us to set up an appointment.
Power to the Pedal maintains a do-it-yourself bicycle workshop in the Bike Barn. Check in with the attendant for access to tools.
Bicycle Events
Free Coffee at the Bike Barn for cyclists
Bike to Work Day - May (date TBD) - Energizer station on 19th and Holloway, bike repairs, and a group ride
