BP 7235 - Integrated Pest Management
The San Diego Community College District recognizes the importance of providing students and staff with a clean, safe and healthy learning environment. Integrated Pest Management is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common sense practices. By using life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment combined with best available pest control methods, the most economical methods are used that will have the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment. This policy expresses the Board’s intent to adopt Integrated Pest Management Practices for all District pest control activities.
