Salve Regina offers composting of food within the dining hall. There are signs by the dish return highlighting this service.

Salve Regina faculty and staff frequently offer walking tree tours of campus that showcase the exotic trees that the wealthy estate owners planted during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Additionally, the Cliff Walk runs through campus which student, faculty, and staff are encouraged to take advantage of.
