Does the institution host a peer-to-peer textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project?:
Yes

A brief description of the textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project:
In order to relieve some of the financial burden on students, SU established the Textbooks on Reserve Program at the library. SU purchased copies of the textbooks of some courses to keep on Reserve behind the Library Service Desk. Students can check these out for 2-hour periods of in-library use. The Dean selects the textbooks to purchase based on course enrollment, with weight given to those courses with high withdraw/failure rates. In addition, SU places "donated" textbooks on reserve for students through this program.

SU also has the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) which assists students who are migrant or seasonal/temporary farmworkers (or children of such workers) enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies at colleges and universities. The funding provides academic, financial, and social/health supports to ensure success.

Does the institution provide incentives for academic staff that explicitly encourage the authorship, peer review, and/or adoption of open access textbooks?:
