Description of the institution’s programs designed to incentivize the use of public transportation:

Through the NJ Transit BusinessPass program, Saint Peter’s University orders monthly transit passes in bulk for employees, in order to take advantage of “commuter tax benefits” allowed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Through this program, employees save up to $1,000 per year and avoid the hassles of parking, tolls and gas when commuting by car.
