Does the institution offer at least one sustainability-focused degree, certificate, or major for undergraduate students?:
Yes

In 2010 the College established the Environmental Studies major.  As an interdisciplinary major, the program is housed in the Chemistry Department, but has course requirements in many disciplines, including: chemistry, biology, media and communications, and politics.  The major allows students to integrate theory and practice both on campus and in off-campus internships, and will also prepare them for careers in sustainability and a healthy environment.  We expect the new major to accelerate the adoption of sustainability learning across the general curriculum just as we have experienced in the past with gender and race studies.
