Steps are taken to eliminate/reduce the use of harmful chemical waste as well as follow Halifax Regional Municipality Bylaw.

Cleaning chemicals used on campus are mainly of green nature and produce less damage to the environment.

University follows Halifax Bylaw in discarding waste.
