OP-T2-13: Timers for Temperature Control
|0.25 / 0.25||
Does the institution use timers to regulate temperatures based on occupancy hours in at least one building?:
A brief description of the technology used:
Through the building automation system, temperature set back is programmed to occur during unoccupied hours by shutting down the main building heating system until the proxy space temperature sensors indicate a requirement to maintain minimal heat - a start stop time optimization program is utilized to ensure comfort conditions are achieved at the time of building occupancy.
