Two versions of our monthly newsletter are distributed to students and employees (faculty/staff). We also can communicate through a variety of social media platforms including:

Yes

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:

We have signage throughout campus that highlights sustainability features, including but not limited to: signage at our bike repair stations, signage at our campus garden regarding organic and ecological horticulture practices, signage about re-use and thrifting at our Free Store, and lots of signage (provided by the Office of Sustainability) in departments and offices that have become certified by our Green Space Certification program.

Yes

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:

A sustainability walking map contains several sustainability features including hydration stations, donation box, the Free Store, electric vehicle charging stations, the 1/2 acre garden, bike racks, etc. This map is present at Admissions tours. In addition, Student Ambassadors are provided annual training on SMC's efforts to ensure that our sustainability tour is conveyed to prospective new students and families.

Yes

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:

Yes, we have a Green Certification quiz that serves a guide to educate and motivate students to consider various sustainable living behaviors.

Additionally, with a direct link from the Sustainability for Students web page, Saint Mary's utilizes third party published materials on how to live green in the campus dorm.
