A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:

Beginning in 2006, the College, through the Office of Institutional Research, administers a Campus Climate Survey of the faculty, staff and students every two years. The survey, which was last administered in 2014, is distributed online distributed in the Spring term.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):

Results of Campus Climate Survey are shared broadly to the campus community of faculty, staff and students. In addition to presentations to the Staff Council and the Academic Senate, Institutional Research has presented the results during Faculty Day and Staff Day in the early Fall and offered a presentation to all students during Community Time. In the analysis of the data, the College, through the Cabinet members starting with the Provost, identifies the areas of greatest concern and identifies the area best suited to develop a solution. For example, the College Committee on Inclusive Excellence will review items relating to a welcome and comfortable work environment or classroom, experiences of perceived bias or discrimination, and access to resources. This Committee would develop a College intervention to begin to address these experiences or inform a broader strategic planning process. Other committees that might receive information include the President's Cabinet, the Council of Deans, the Campus Deans and Directors, Student Success Committee.

The year the employee satisfaction and engagement evaluation was last administered:
