Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
No formal policy is currently in place with regards to alternative fuel and power technology in SLU's motorized fleet. Fleet vehicle management and purchasing at the University is decentralized. In 2014, Facilities Services began including formal verbiage for alternative fuel/"green" options in the request for proposal process which is a standard part of the vehicle procurement process. These options are now formally considered in the fleet vehicle rotation that occurs annually.
